More than 3 million people have visited the World of Energy, and we’d love for you to be our next guest. We can easily accommodate small families or large groups; once here, there are plenty of fun and exciting things to see and learn. Our current schedule and hours will always be posted on our website. Contact the World of Energy if you will be bringing a group of more than 25 visitors. Interested in a group presentation?

  • Traveling on I-85 S toward Atlanta, GA:

    • Take Exit 40 (Hwy 153). Exit to the right and bear right onto Hwy 153.
    • Continue on Hwy 153 for about 10 minutes until the road exits onto Hwy 123 South.
    • Take Hwy 123 South through Easley and Clemson toward Seneca, approximately 23 miles.
    • Continue through Clemson and cross Lake Hartwell.
    • After crossing Lake Hartwell, continue approximately 2 miles and take a right turn (Food Lion is on the corner) onto Old Clemson Highway.
    • Continue on Old Clemson Highway until you reach a traffic light. Old Clemson Highway will dead end here, connecting to Hwy SC 130.
    • Take the right onto Hwy 130.
    • Stay on Hwy 130 until you reach the entrance to the World of Energy (approximately 5 miles). Turn right into the entrance, bear left up the hill and the World of Energy is on the right.
  • Traveling on I-85 N toward Greenville, SC:

    • Take Exit 1 right toward SC- Hwy 11 toward Westminster/Walhalla.
    • Turn left onto SC – Hwy 11/Cherokee Foothills Scenic Hwy.
    • Take the US-76/US-123 ramp toward Westminster/Seneca
    • Turn left onto Sandifer Blvd/US-76E/US 123N becomes US-76-BYP E/US-123-BYP N/SC-28 E.
    • Turn left onto Rochester Hwy /SC 130 S.
    • Stay on Hwy 130 until you reach the entrance to the World of Energy. Turn left into the entrance, bear left up the hill and the World of Energy is on the right.
  • Traveling on I-26 E/US-25 S toward US-176/N Carolina 225/Greenville:

    • Take exit 54 to merge onto US-25 S toward US-176/N Carolina 225/Greenville.
    • Take the exit toward S Carolina 11 S/Cherokee Foothills Scenic Hwy (.2 miles) then
    • Turn left onto SC 11/ Cherokee Foothills Scenic Hwy. (4.5 miles)
    • Turn right onto SC 11 S/US-276 N/Greer Hwy.
    • Turn left onto SC 130 S/Whitewater Falls Road (Hwy130 toward Salem).
    • Continue on SC130 through Salem. You will reach a traffic light where Hwy 130 appears to dead end. Turn left to continue on 130. You will immediately pass a Wells Fargo bank on the right hand side.
    • Stay on Hwy 130 until you reach the entrance to the World of Energy. Turn left into the entrance, bear left up the hill and the World of Energy is on the right.
  • Traveling on S Carolina 28/US-76/Clemson Blvd, toward Clemson, SC:

    • Turn left onto S Carolina 28 W/US-123 S/US-76 W/Tiger Blvd.
    • Continue through Clemson and cross Lake Hartwell.
    • After crossing Lake Hartwell, continue approximately 2 miles and take a right turn (Food Lion is on the corner) onto Old Clemson Highway.
    • Continue on Old Clemson Highway until you reach a traffic light. Old Clemson Highway will dead end here, connecting to Hwy SC 130.
    • Take the right onto Hwy 130.
    • Stay on Hwy 130 until you reach the entrance to the World of Energy (approximately 5 miles). Turn right into the entrance, bear left up the hill and the World of Energy is on the right.
  • Traveling on S-76 W:

    • US-76 W becomes I-26 W. (approx 60 miles)
    • Merge onto I-385 N via EXIT 51 on the left toward Laurens/Greenville (approx 30 miles)
    • Merge onto I-185-TOLL N/Southern Conn via EXIT 30 toward Atlanta (Portions toll).
    • Keep left at the fork to continue on I-185-TOLL N/Southern Conn (Portions toll).
    • Take EXIT 12 toward SC-153 N/I-85/Easley/Clemson.
    • Turn slight right onto Earle E Morris Hwy.
    • Earle E Morris Hwy becomes SC-153 N.
    • Merge onto Calhoun Memorial Hwy/US-123 S toward Easley.
    • Continue through Clemson and cross Lake Hartwell.
    • After crossing Lake Hartwell, continue approximately 2 miles and take a right turn (Food Lion is on the corner) onto Old Clemson Highway.
    • Continue on Old Clemson Highway until you reach a traffic light. Old Clemson Highway will dead end here, connecting to Hwy SC 130.
    • Take the right onto Hwy 130.
