Drake‘s 2-year-old son Adonis Graham made his adorable Instagram debut on Monday, with his superstar dad and mom Sophie Brussaux both posting a series of photos of the curly-haired cutie.
Both commemorated their “beautiful family” in the heartwarming pictures of the toddler — who actually has two artists for parents: a world-famous rapper as a father and a world-traveling painter as a mother. Below, here are six things to know about Brussaux:

1. She was born and raised in France.
The Canadian news outlet Narcity reported that Brussaux was born Aug. 1, 1989, in Bordeaux, France. She is 30.
2. She is a former model and now has a successful career as a painter.
Brussaux used to appear in music videos, going by the name of Rosee Divine. But she’s made a new name for herself in the art world, as her paintings have been featured in major exhibitions. Her work blends surrealism, symbolism and pop art to colorfully capture popular figures such as Frida Kahlo, the Obamas, Leonardo DiCaprio,Amy Winehouse and more. She even met Pope Francis last November to deliver his custom celebrity portrait at the Vatican. “Such an honor to meet Pope Francis and gift him the portrait I painted for him in honor of his concert with and for the poor on Nov 9 2019,” Brussaux wrote on Instagram. “I used green, the color of hope, with red, the color designated by@undp [United Nations Development Programme]to fight poverty.”

According to her portfolio’s About page, the visual artist hits the town like nobody else. The jet-setter paints in her Bordeaux, France-based studio and takes her pieces to art-loving nightclubs and museums alike in Milan, NYC, London, Dubai, Toronto, Paris and more. Regardless of “her 30 years traveling the world,” she wasn’t just born with the travel bug: Brussaux studied international affairs in school, according to her website.
4. Her feminist values drive her provocative art.
Sophie B., her artist name, not only claims to be a feminist, but beautifully shows it in her art, which “fuses cultural iconography, biblical & sci-fi fixtures with ideas that span the daring emancipation of female sexuality, AI in dystopian possible futures, and lapsed spirituality,” her About page reads.
5. She founded a nonprofit organization for artists called Arts Help.
She serves as the founder and artistic director of Arts Help, a nonprofit that offers free master classes, partners with large institutions to develop pieces for social change, and publishes content from artists of all disciplines on all platforms. Founded on the principle of art making the world a better place, Arts Help is the world’s largest art publisher, with 2.5 million members. In May 2019, UN-Habitat Global Advocate awarded Brussaux and her entire Arts Help team for their collaborative “Icons With a Purpose” exhibition at the Toronto Design Exchange Museum, as seen on her Instagram.

The two chatted among a group of friends dining at a Japanese restaurant in Amsterdam on Jan. 24, 2017, according toThe Sun. This was around the time theScorpionrapper was rumored to be spending time withJennifer Lopez. Then, in May 2017,TMZclaimed to have obtained text messages between Brussaux and Drake that revealed he wanted her to have an abortion. Adonis Graham was born in October 2017 in the same month as his father, who commemorated his own birthday by naming his label “October’s Very Own.”
